That must have been the sun!
A peak at amethyst
As perfect as it can exist
The frenzy she failed to resist
Began the year with the relativists.
A time that was white like phosphate bones,
Bottles of hormones
A doctor’s prescription like a tombstone
That nearly sent her to the unknown.
Sure it guided her wrong
And it lasted a yearlong
But it was her favorite drinking song
So she let the echo resolve if she was weak or strong.
